Job summary

Animal Friends, a leading UK pet insurer, seeks a Pricing Analyst to develop and refine pricing strategies. You will work within the Pricing Team on major projects, collaborating with stakeholders to drive commercial decisions.

Flexible on location in the UK (remote, hybrid, or office-based in Amesbury). Strong numerical degree and experience with pricing tools and programming languages preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree educated with a strong numerical content.
• Pricing experience in GI or PMI beneficial.
• Experience with pricing tools such as Emblem or Radar.
• Proficiency in at least one statistical language (R or Python).
• Ability to query and manipulate structured data with SQL.
• Knowledge to build GLM and interpret outputs for insurance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve pricing strategies and commercial decisions.
• Lead end-to-end pricing projects with major stakeholders.
• Contribute to pricing streams: Street Pricing, Rate Setting, and Product Design.
• Support portfolio monitoring and reporting.
