Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Pricing Development Manager for a leading mutual organisation undergoing a major transformation. You will lead a technical pricing team, designing, developing and deploying pricing algorithms into live environments, collaborating with Pricing, Underwriting, IT and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience in pricing development environment.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying pricing algorithms.
• Experience using RADAR or equivalent programming languages with SQL or similar data tools.
• Strong knowledge of code review, testing and quality assurance.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting less experienced colleagues.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines.
• Collaborative and proactive approach with focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and deployment of pricing algorithms into live environments.
• Manage end-to-end delivery from development and testing through to production.
• Lead, coach and develop a specialist team of pricing developers.
• Review technical outputs and ensure high standards of quality, accuracy and governance.
• Manage competing priorities and coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Work closely with Pricing, Underwriting, IT and wider business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing tools, processes and ways of working.
• Support pricing governance, audit requirements and wider transformation initiatives.
