Job summary

The Emerald Group in London is seeking a data-driven pricing analyst capable of building and deploying pricing models and analytics to drive commercial value.

You will communicate insights clearly, work to budgets and timelines, and apply machine learning and solid mathematics to understand retail pricing and Protection products like Term Assurance, Critical Illness, and Income protection.

Understand the Company business model, and how pricing, modelling and where data drive commercial value

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Build and deploy impactful, pricing models and analytics, sometimes under tight timescales, constantly adhering to best practice guidelines and established QA frameworks
• Communicate knowledge, insight and recommendations with clarity and conviction, and in a tailored, outcome-orientated way
• Constantly implement all activities in line with agreed budgets and timescales
• Understanding of retail pricing models, approaches and basics
• Machine learning capability
• Solid mathematical knowledge
