This position sits within the underwriting support function and is critical in expanding and enhancing pricing capabilities across multiple lines of insurance and reinsurance business.
Reporting directly to the Head of Pricing, this role sits within the underwriting support function and plays a key part in expanding and enhancing pricing capabilities across a broad range of insurance and reinsurance business lines.
The exposure is particularly diverse, covering the Syndicate's specialist portfolio, including Property, Financial Lines, D&O/E&O, Energy, Credit, Environmental, Binding Authority, and Reinsurance.
Key responsibilities include the development, maintenance, and validation of pricing models that support underwriting decisions across the business.
The team is keen to hire individuals with strong technical ability, commercial acumen, and a desire to make an impact, rather than simply seeking the finished article. You will conduct individual case pricing, support underwriting teams with technical pricing input, and contribute valuable insights to business planning and reserving.
