Qualifications

Pricing Actuary - Casualty

Location: London/Hybrid

The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a Pricing Actuary to join our Data Science Pricing team in London. The role involves creating future-focused processes and tools to support UK and international Casualty and broader pricing transformation. You will gain exposure to the London Market, the world's largest and most complex insurance risks, as well as the UK and European insurance sectors.

Your New Role:
  1. Collaborate with the Casualty Pricing Data Science lead and build strong relationships with Casualty underwriters across the UK, European, and Lloyd’s markets.
  2. Lead the ongoing development of Casualty models used by various underwriting teams.
  3. Work on case pricing for larger risks and binders.
  4. Integrate new data science techniques with traditional pricing methods to build a leading team of pricing data science professionals.
  5. Support and mentor junior members of the Casualty Pricing Data Science team.
About You:
  • Experience in General Insurance, preferably within London Markets.
  • Pricing experience, especially within Casualty, is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, R, SQL, or other programming languages.
