The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a Pricing Actuary to join our Data Science Pricing team in London. The role involves creating future-focused processes and tools to support UK and International Casualty and the wider pricing transformation. This role offers exposure to the London Market, the world’s largest and most complex insurance risks, and provides insights into the UK and European insurance sectors.

Your New Role:
  • Collaborate with the Casualty Pricing Data Science lead and build relationships with Casualty underwriters across the UK, European, and Lloyd’s markets.
  • Develop and refine Casualty models used by underwriting teams.
  • Handle case pricing for larger risks and binders.
  • Integrate new data science techniques with traditional pricing methods to enhance team capabilities.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.
About You:
  • Experience in General Insurance, preferably within London Markets.
  • Pricing experience, especially in Casualty, is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages.
