Tesco Insurance and Money Services offers a 10-12 month Industry Placement for a Pricing Actuarial Analyst Intern in Reigate. You’ll join pricing teams, analyse trends, and build predictive models while learning from pricing experts.

The role suits undergraduates in numerate degrees, on track for a 2:1, with strong Excel and interest in UK personal lines. Hybrid working with office time is provided.

Qualifications

• You’ll be working towards a degree in a numerical subject on track for a 2:1 degree.
• An interest in insurance pricing and in the UK personal lines insurance market.
• Highly computer literate; able to use Excel and other data analysis and data processing/modelling software.

Responsabilités

• Build predictive models and use data science tools to provide pricing insight.
• Deliver high quality analysis to support pricing changes and opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance to identify areas of focus and opportunity.
• Apply new statistical analyses, machine learning and automation to improve processes.
• Communicate modelling results clearly to peers and stakeholders.
• Keep skills up to date and pursue personal development.
