Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd is seeking an ambitious GI Pricing Analyst to join a growing commercial insurance business in Manchester. You will build models and tools, shape underwriting decisions, and gain hands-on experience in pricing, profitability analysis and data analytics.

The role suits someone with up to 2 years in GI actuarial pricing, a degree in actuarial science or mathematics, and a drive to pursue actuarial qualifications while developing technical skills.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years in GI actuarial pricing.
• Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics with top grades (A/AB in A-Level Maths).
• Strong analytical skills with Python and/or SQL.
• Aim to pursue actuarial qualification while developing data skills.
• Confident communicator across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing and portfolio analysis for commercial insurance products.
• Analyse premium adequacy, profitability and portfolio performance.
• Deliver data-driven insights to support underwriting decisions.
• Develop and enhance analytical tools using Python and SQL.
• Transform manual processes into automated solutions.
• Contribute to dashboards, reporting tools and analytical models.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to understand challenges and decision-making.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
