Job summary

Tesco Insurance and Money Services in Reigate is hiring an Actuarial Pricing Analyst to analyze pricing trends, build models, and identify growth opportunities in the Insurance business.

You will deliver high-quality data analytics, use statistical techniques, and communicate results to non-technical peers. The role is hybrid, typically 2 days onsite, with a salary from £33,040 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerical subject (ideally 2.1).
• Highly computer literate; proficient in Excel and data analysis software.
• Experience with R and Python is beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills; able to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Highly customer centric; focused on delivering high levels of service.
• Some knowledge of the UK personal lines insurance market is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build pricing models and use data science tools to provide insight into insurance risk.
• Deliver high-quality data analytical activities to support pricing changes and business opportunities.
• Proactively research and implement new statistical analyses, machine learning and automation to improve processes.
• Communicate modelling results clearly to peers and stakeholders in non-technical language.
• Monitor business performance across products and highlight pricing opportunities across segments.
• Keep knowledge up to date and drive personal development.
