Qualifications

• Degree in a numerical subject with a 2:1 classification.
• Strong Excel and data processing/modelling skills.
• R and Python are beneficial for modelling; not required.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Customer-centric approach with interest in UK personal lines insurance.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis in clear terms.

Responsibilities

• Build pricing models and use data science tools to inform insurance pricing.
• Deliver high quality data analytics to support pricing decisions and opportunities.
• Research and apply new statistical techniques and automation to improve processes.
• Communicate modelling results to peers and stakeholders in non-technical language.
