Hertfordshire County Council is seeking a Prevention Officer to lead prevention activity across allocated districts and stations in Stevenage and throughout the county. You will provide data-driven guidance and access to approved resources to support proactive prevention work.

You will collaborate with Adult Social Care, Children’s Services and health partners, translating complex information into practical actions.

Formación

• Experience in prevention, safeguarding, emergency services or related public sector work.
• Ability to analyse data and translate into practical actions.
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Act as prevention lead for allocated districts and stations.
• Provide guidance and access to approved prevention resources.
• Support safeguarding referrals and multi‑agency collaboration.
• Contribute to data analysis and continuous improvement of prevention work.
