A leading healthcare provider is looking for a Therapeutic Radiographer to join their dynamic radiotherapy department in Cardiff. This role involves performing specialized imaging, treatment techniques, and participating in patient care. Ideal candidates will hold a BSc in Radiography and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills. This position offers a salary ranging from £37,898 to £45,637 annually, with opportunities for career advancement.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for Therapeutic Radiographer to join our team in a forward thinking radiotherapy department at Velindre Cancer Service.
This post will include rotation at both the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff and the new Radiotherapy Satellite centre at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
To work in the pre-treatment areas carrying out accurate and consistent highly specialist imaging, virtual simulation and treatment techniques.
To deputise in the role of team leader in the absence of the Band 7 radiographer, as required.
To be part of a large multi-disciplinary team and to be involved in the total care of patients undergoing radiotherapy.
To work flexibly according to the demands of the service, including weekends and across more than one site.
To participate in CHART and on-call working as required.
