Job summary

The Roundhouse in Sandon, Hertfordshire invites applications for a Press Brake Setter Operator. This is a site-based role within a busy sheet metal and fabrication environment, where you will set and operate press brake machinery to produce accurate metal components.

You will work from engineering drawings and job sheets, set tooling and adjust machine settings, and check parts with measuring equipment to ensure accuracy. There is a 4 day week with long weekends and an efficiency bonus scheme.

Position: Press Brake Setter Operator

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 + 4 Day Week + Monthly Efficiency Bonus + Friday To Sunday Off Every Week + Overtime At Time And A Half + Stable Days based role

Are you a Press Brake Operator looking for a stable Monday to Thursday role with long weekends every week and the opportunity to earn extra cash every month without doing any overtime?

This is a site-based role within a busy sheet metal and fabrication manufacturing environment, setting and operating press brake machinery to produce accurate metal components.

The company also runs an efficiency bonus scheme, giving operators the opportunity to earn additional monthly payments based on completed work and performance. As an example, 110% average performance would equate to around £2,371 extra per year.

The Role

• Set and operate press brake machinery
• Fold and form sheet metal components
• Work from engineering drawings and job sheets

• Monday to Thursday only

The Person

• Press Brake Operator, Press Brake Setter Operator, CNC Press Brake Operator, Brake Press Operator or similar
• Previous press brake operating or setting experience
• Able to work from drawings or job sheets
• Background in sheet metal, fabrication, manufacturing or engineering
• Reliable, hands-on and quality-focused
• Candidates with wider machine setting experience may also be considered
