Kenect are currently seeking skilled Press Brake Operators to join their manufacturing team close to Leicester City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with sheet metal fabrication. This role involves operating press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.

Responsibilities

1. Operate press brake machinery
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings
3. Set and run machinery
4. Perform quality checks
5. Adhere to health and safety regulations

Experience

1. Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
3. Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
4. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
5. Experience working with Amada/Megaform.
