Role includes setting up machinery, reading drawings, maintaining safety, and working a rotating shift pattern. Competitive pay up to £15.59 per hour plus £2.20 per hour shift allowance, with overtime opportunities.

Press Brake Operator

Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for your next opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our production team, operating hydraulic press brakes to produce high-quality metal components to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating hydraulic press brake machinery
• Bending, shaping and forming sheet metal to engineering drawings and specifications
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience operating press brake machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Hours of Work:

Weekly Rotating Shifts

Week 1 (Days)

• Monday to Thursday: 05:45 - 14:15
• Friday: 05:45 - 13:15

Week 2 (Afternoons)

• Monday to Thursday: 14:00 - 22:30
• Friday: 13:00 - 20:30
