Job summary

Timberwise is seeking a Preservation Sales Surveyor to cover Cheltenham and surrounding areas. You will travel regionally, perform face-to-face surveys, develop a dedicated surveying area and sell Timberwise's preservation products and services.

The ideal candidate has timber, damp, waterproofing or property surveying experience, strong knowledge of building construction, a sales background, excellent communication, and a willingness to work flexibly. Full-time role with company benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in timber and damp, waterproofing and/or property surveying.
• Good knowledge of building construction.
• Sales and development background in similar product area.
• Passion for sales and to demonstrate enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication and eye for detail.
• Experience in contract/site management.
• Experience liaising on technical matters.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to succeed.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Day to day surveying and client contact through face to face surveys
• Development of a dedicated surveying area
• Selling the company's products and services
• Acting as technical liaison on all aspects of the products
• Effectively planning and prioritising workload
• Working full-time 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday but you may at times need to work outside these hours
