Travel: UK, Middle East

Role Overview: The purpose of this role is to manage the Cybersecurity Services and SOC operations for Microland’s clients, including MDR center management for all customer accounts.

  • Represent Microland Cybersecurity strategic objectives, service health, and future plans.
  • Ensure ancillary processes such as risk assessments accurately reflect control requirements.
  • Influence customer's product and platform selections through consultative advisory.
  • Review, engage, plan, and deploy necessary security governance processes and practices.
  • Work with IT Infrastructure & Applications leaders to operationalize standards and control objectives.
  • Execute continuous improvement framework to enhance secure design and build practices.
  • Ensure security training programs are relevant and executed in a calendarized manner.
  • Handle all security findings appropriately.
  • Drive optimal and effective productivity utilization of Cybersecurity resources.
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility and sophistication of response capability.
  • Create and execute security strategies to increase IT systems and projects efficiency.
  • Direct crisis management by investigating breaches and implementing solutions.
  • Allocate resources to ensure secure solutions delivery.
  • Manage cybersecurity team within the organization.
  • Oversee vulnerability audits, penetration tests, and forensic IT investigations.
  • Liaise with customer senior leaders to align new systems with security policies and data protection strategies.
  • Ensure teams' security training and compliance efforts are up to date.
  • Manage Cybersecurity partners, stakeholders, vendors, and third-party solutions providers.
  • Track relevant Cybersecurity trends and suggest actions to leverage them.
  • Create Cybersecurity Service Catalogue and standardize SLA & KPIs.
  • Define Cybersecurity Maturity model and analyze customers on relevant metrics.
  • Develop Cybersecurity Service Catalog improvement roadmap and strategy.
  • Benchmark Cybersecurity service line construct with industry research groups.
  • Develop, test, and rollout automation tools and accelerators.
  • Drive successful transitions of services for new deals.
  • Review, validate, and co-create solution proposals and effort sizing for new Cybersecurity deals.
  • Collaborate with other delivery teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Establish oneself as an industry and Microland thought leader.
  • Work with the Marketing team to define sales messages and marketing collaterals.
  • Collaborate with the Presales and Solution team during Cybersecurity solutions implementation.
  • Understand end-to-end services of the customer and their business.
  • Drive customer advocacy and become a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure availability as required by the customer, especially during critical times.

Revenue & Margin:

  • Complete knowledge of business and financial acumen in dealing with procurement, legal, account management, and finance departments.
  • Well-versed with account planning, budgeting, revenue targets, margins, and profitability strategies.
  • Manage profitability in business engagement by tracking work statements and budgeting proceedings.
  • Achieve account margin goals and conduct formal internal reviews.
  • Derive action plans from monthly profitability reports.
  • Prepare and execute operational budget within approved guidelines.
  • Work with senior executives across geography for operational presentations and budgets.
  • Manage Service Delivery organization within the pre-approved budget.
  • Control program costs and set metrics for optimum delivery.
  • Manage total revenue and improve revenue generation.

Operations Management:

  • Engage with other delivery leaders to drive sustainable growth and acceptable security practices.
  • Accountable for overall cybersecurity services delivered to customers.
  • Foster a culture of service quality, collaborative efforts, knowledge sharing, and competitive agility.
  • Own people’s growth and create technical opportunities for career enhancement.
  • Good understanding of technical domains and ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Comfortable in the role of a “Mentor” and focused on team and client needs.
  • Continuously develop skills and knowledge in self and others.

Technology:

  • Sound knowledge of emerging Cybersecurity technologies, platforms, tools, and products.
  • Awareness of global industry trends and their impact on Cybersecurity services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select innovative approaches to enhance project portfolio and delivery mechanisms.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing Cybersecurity services.
  • Hands-on skills in managing key cybersecurity domains.
  • Technical and management expertise in key Cybersecurity services and products.
  • Design and deployment of solutions such as Azure Sentinel, Splunk SIEM, CyberArc PAM, Sailpoint IAM, etc.
  • Technical expertise on McAfee, Duo/Ping, Crowdstrike, Deepwatch, Darktrace.
  • Exposure to infrastructure security solutions like next-gen firewall, IPS, WAF, proxy.
  • Knowledge of Azure and AWS native information security solutions is an added advantage.
  • Execute use-case and demo presentations of Cybersecurity solutions.
  • Work independently to run POCs and new technology evaluations.
  • Interact with multiple OEMs/OESPs to achieve integrated solutions.

Desired Candidate:

  • Near 15 years of Cybersecurity Service Delivery Management experience in a global MSSP organization.
  • Ability to handle senior management level people in Accounts and Engagement management.
  • Understanding of industry best practices for Cybersecurity Service Line Management.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, produce quality documentation, and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical details into coherent technical solutions.
  • Ability to lead business managers and project teams to consensus.
  • Confidence to speak up, challenge ideas, and propose alternatives.
  • Desirable certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CASP+, CISM.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTECH) in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Graduate degrees and advanced certifications are valuable.
