Job summary

Civica is seeking an experienced Commercial Presales Manager to lead a high-performing Presales function as a strategic partner to Sales. You will drive qualification, solution design and customer value demonstrations to improve commercial outcomes.

Join Civica to shape an operating model, collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence priorities that accelerate deal progression while protecting margins. Strong leadership and a data-driven approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within Presales, Solutions Consulting, Technical Sales or a similar software environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving opportunity quality, conversion or sales performance.
• Experience leading complex software and services solution selling.
• Confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders using evidence and commercial insight.
• Strong coaching skills, particularly helping technical specialists communicate business value.
• A data-led, proactive approach with strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.

• Drive measurable impact across deal progression, conversion, revenue quality and margin protection.
