Specialised Global E-Invoicing / Procure-to-Pay / Order-to-Cash & AR/AP Automation SaaS Talent Provider

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading multi-billion dollar global provider in the tax and e-invoicing technology and compliance sector as an Indirect Tax Presales Consultant. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in indirect tax reporting and compliance to support business growth and drive value for multinational clients, particularly across the EMEA region. The position is central to the sales process, requiring both technical acumen and strong client engagement skills to address complex indirect tax challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present advanced indirect tax solutions to Fortune1000 companies, identifying process inefficiencies and supporting the sales team in developing tailored proposals and business cases.
  • Lead solution demos, aligning product capabilities to specific client needs & effectively communicating value props through presentations, calls, & virtual meetings.
  • In-depth needs analyses for targeted demos; document and prepare tax use cases, offering clients practical automation solutions for indirect tax determination, calculation, & reporting.
  • Support sales teams with technical resources, product updates, and training, and work closely with marketing and product management to identify industry trends and drive new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate within the organisation as a product expert, keeping stakeholders informed about product developments, maintaining up-to-date demo data / scripts / technical documentation.
  • Attend and contribute at industry events, webinars, and thought-leadership initiatives to enhance your own market presence and lead generation.
  • Experience in indirect tax, VAT consulting, or tax technology, ideally gained at a Big4 or within a multinational corporation.
  • Strong understanding of global indirect tax regs, complex supply-chain transactions, and compliance processes, including Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable and filing obligations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle or Workday) and how they integrate with indirect tax processes, including document flow for B2B and B2C transactions.
  • Polished presentation skills, strong narrative/value based approach, with the ability to articulate value propositions & address crucial business tax issues for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and client conflict management abilities; heavily customer-focused with a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.
