Up to GBP35k per year inclusive of shift allowance and OT

Location: Milton Keynes | 40 hours a week | Immediate starts available

Join a rail overhaul revolution in Milton Keynes as a Paint Prepper! We are seeking individuals from Rail, Automotive, and Aviation backgrounds to work on bodywork preparation and spray booth setup. Be part of a business investing heavily in its site during a busy period for rail overhauls in the UK.

The Opportunity

With many hours available, we look for self-motivated individuals passionate about engineering, contributing to passenger train overhauls and refurbishments. Your role will be crucial to the success of these projects. Contact us with your CV to learn more about what’s happening at the site.

Location

Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Role and Responsibilities

• Full surface inspection and preparation using hand and power tools
• Sanding, masking, and taping areas
• Applying safety decals
• Quality control and defect reporting
• Assisting in spray booth setup and maintenance

The Candidate

• Willing to work early and late shifts from Monday to Friday
• Able to commit to at least 40 hours per week

Essential Experience

• Experience in Rolling Stock/Rail, aviation, or automotive sectors
• Surface preparation experience within an engineering environment

Hours

Shifts: Mon to Thurs - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm; Fri - 6am-11am / 11am-4pm. Overtime available (50-hour weeks).

Salary

Up to GBP27,000 depending on experience + 12.5% shift allowance on top of basic salary.
