Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Paint Prepper to join our client's team in Maidstone. The role involves preparing fabricated parts for wet painting to ensure high-quality finishes and durability.

Responsibilities

1. Use power tools for drilling, grinding, and sanding components in line with company processes.
2. Mask threads and bores to prevent damage during shot blasting and painting.
3. Handle components through blast equipment to achieve optimal surface finish and cleanliness.
4. Hang components efficiently for priming and painting.
5. Unload and pack components for delivery, ensuring paint quality is maintained.
6. Monitor blast profiles daily.
7. Maintain cleanliness of the prep area and perform preventative maintenance on shot blast equipment.
8. Follow health and safety policies and relevant risk assessments.
9. Comply with environmental policies, including waste disposal and emission control.
