Norfolk County Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join the Preparing for Adult Life Service. This role involves supporting young people with complex needs as they transition into Adult Social Care, ensuring a coordinated approach across services. The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in Social Work and a commitment to a person-centred approach.
Permanent contract | £38,626 to £40,476 per annum (Scale J) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich
The Preparing for Adult Life (PfAL) Service supports young people transitioning into Adult Social Care in a seamless, coordinated manner.
You will work with young people with complex needs and their families, demonstrating an understanding of legislative requirements related to the Care Act 2014 and other legislation such as the Children and Families Act 2014. The role involves carrying out assessments and care planning under the Care Act 2014.
We are seeking applications from candidates with a professional qualification in Social Work.
