Job summary

Active Design is seeking an enthusiastic Preparation and Sub Assembly Technician to join our Birmingham site. You will work with the assembly supervisor and other technicians to prepare all parts and labour required for assembling the seating system, including headrests and other components.

The role involves organising and assembling parts for the Workshop Technician to start building the seating, reading schematics and instructions, and ensuring parts are ready for production in a timely

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts are ready for the assembly technician promptly and accurately.
• Assemble foam blocks for machining per specification.
• Prepare machines with the parts to cut and mould.
• Mould parts into seating shells.
• Assemble components for full seating systems.
• Read and decipher schematics, blueprints and instructions accurately.
