Vertu BMW Prep Centre Sunderland is seeking a Prep Technician to carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on both new and used vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer guidelines and first-time fix quality. Core requirements include City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Automotive, current experience as a Vehicle Technician, own tools and a full UK driving licence; MOT licence preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT licence preferred but not essential.
• Own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles.
• Ensure PDIs meet manufacturer guidelines and high standards.
• Work to agreed timeframes with productivity and customer service.
• Maintain quality workmanship and achieve first-time fixes.
