Job summary

Vertu BMW Prep Centre Sunderland is seeking a Prep Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, ensuring work meets manufacturer guidelines. You will work to tight time frames while upholding high productivity and exceptional service standards.

The role requires an automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification, current Vehicle Technician experience, and your own tools, with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
MOT license preferred but not essential
Your own set of tools
A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
Ensure PDIs are completed to manufacturer guidelines
Work to agreed time frames while maintaining high productivity
Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Maintain quality workmanship and aim for first-time fixes
