Job summary

BMR Solutions Ltd is recruiting a highly skilled Veneer Specialist to join a specialist manufacturing business producing high-value, premium finished products. You will take responsibility for the complete veneering process from raw veneer selection to final quality inspection.

The role requires substantial experience in high-end veneering, with focus on grain and colour matching, precise cutting, matching, and the use of hot and cold presses to produce premium surfaces.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in selecting raw veneers and producing matched veneers.
• Strong eye for grain, colour and symmetry.
• Proven ability to work to tight tolerances and create invisible joints.
• Experience with UF, PVA or veneer adhesives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select raw wood veneer and flitches.
• Assess grain, colour and material quality.
• Match veneer for colour, grain and symmetry.
• Cut and dimension veneer leaves to size.
• Operate veneer presses and control pressing conditions.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects.
• Maintain veneering equipment and tools.
