Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Chesterfield is seeking a Prep Technician to join its award-winning aftersales team. You'll deliver PDIs on new and used vehicles, ensuring each car meets Land Rover standards before customer delivery.

This role requires attention to detail, productivity goals, and a commitment to quality. The successful candidate will have an automotive qualification (NVQ3/City & Guilds or equivalent), prior prep or vehicle technician experience, and own tools.

Qualifications

• A recognised automotive qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Prep Technician.
• Your own tools.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Prepare vehicles to the highest standards before customer delivery.
• Maintain productivity while ensuring right-first-time quality in every vehicle.
• Work in a fast-paced workshop to deliver premium vehicles for Land Rover.
