Job summary

Hotel Chocolat in Rushmere is seeking a Sales Advisor to warmly welcome customers and immerse them in our premium chocolate brand. You will explore customer needs, conduct tastings, and confidently close sales while offering related products. You’ll manage till transactions and assist with stock and deliveries, ensuring a high standard of store presentation.

The role acts as a brand ambassador with a focus on customer care, allergen awareness and team collaboration in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and immersing them in the Hotel Chocolat brand.
• Discovering customers' needs through friendly conversation.
• Running product tastings and demonstrations while checking for allergens.
• Closing sales and recommending additional products like gift bags.
• Thanking customers and ensuring they leave happy.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Responding to customer feedback.
• Assisting with deliveries and stock management and keeping areas tidy.
• Preparing hot/cold drinks, ice creams and snacks in café areas where applicable, with upselling.
• Supporting store and team to drive success.
