Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Sales Advisor in the UK. The role offers a 12-hour contract with three 4-hour shifts, and midweek plus weekend availability. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and help drive sales in our premium chocolate brand stores.

We value passion for customer service and brand ambassadorship. The position includes in-store tastings, upselling opportunities, and team support across deliveries and stock management.

Qualifications

• No retail experience required.
• Availability through the day mid week as well as weekends.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer and immerse them in Hotel Chocolat.
• Discovering customers’ needs through friendly conversation.
• Delight customers with product demonstrations and tastings, check allergens.
• Close the sale and recommend add-ons such as gift bags.
• Thank customers and ensure they leave happy.
• Process transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Respond to customer feedback and keep delivery area tidy per health & safety rules.
• Maintain the store and café areas to a high standard.
