The Society of Heads is seeking a skilled Premises Manager to lead the Operations Department at Freemen’s School. This full-time role emphasizes maintenance, team management, and budget oversight at a historical site featuring notable facilities, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Freemen’s is looking for a Premises Manager to join our Operations Department. Reporting to the Director of Estates and Operations, the Premises Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, management and administration of the School’s services and facilities, whilst focusing on quality of service delivery and ensuring best practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Premises Manager to join the Operations Team as soon as possible.
Managing a team of four staff, the role requires strong leadership and the ability to prioritize. Recognized building maintenance and health and safety qualifications are essential, along with a good working knowledge of maintenance issues related to listed buildings and experience managing budgets.
The successful candidate will join a diverse Operations team, which includes Maintenance, Grounds, and Commercial departments, with contracted services for Catering and Soft Services.
The Freemen’s estate at Ashtead Park features a range of facilities, including a Grade II* listed manor house, recital hall, theatre, and 57 acres of grounds and sporting facilities.
This is a full-time, year-round role, requiring 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for school events, as well as on-call duties on a rota basis, is necessary.
Salary: £47,080 to £53,850 per annum, depending on experience.
