Job summary

Yeo Valley Organic is seeking a committed Maintenance/Asset Reliability professional to deliver predictive and preventative maintenance and drive improvements across manufacturing sites in Somerset and Devon.

The role requires an engineering discipline background, demonstrable fault-finding skills, and proactive asset care within a busy production environment. Opportunities for development and long-term growth are available.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent level of training in a single engineering discipline.
• Demonstrable capability and application of engineering knowledge in applied skills.
• Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to people and food safety through own working practices and standards in line with legislative, company and working procedures.
• Engagement in the development and support of a reliability centered approach to asset maintenance.
• Effective delivery of asset care through planned, unplanned, predictive and preventative engineering activity to a high standard.
• Collaborate with other teams and colleagues to effectively manage tasks and resources.
• Work with site teams to develop knowledge and understanding of assets and processes.
• Use problem solving techniques and root cause analysis to prevent faults and inefficiencies.
• Participate in continuous improvement to support a high performing workplace.
• Support project delivery across the site.
• Use business systems to build and utilise asset/performance data.
• Understand performance measures and personal contribution.
