Matchtech Group in London is seeking a hands-on Workshop Technician to join a precision engineering team. You will manufacture components using CNC and conventional machines, interpret drawings, and contribute to production from concept to delivery in a bespoke, low-volume environment.

You'll ensure quality through inspection, support assembly and testing, and share knowledge with apprentices. The role is Monday-Friday, onsite, with salary up to £40,000 and a strong focus on safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Experience in precision engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience operating CNC and conventional machine tools.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and processes.
• Experience inspecting components with standard measuring equipment.

Responsabilités

• Program, set and operate CNC machine tools to manufacture components to specification.
• Use conventional machining equipment where required.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and technical documentation.
• Manufacture bespoke and low-volume precision components.
• Support assembly, integration and testing activities within the workshop.
• Conduct inspections using appropriate measuring equipment and techniques.
• Identify manufacturing challenges and contribute practical engineering solutions.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing and inspection records.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to agreed quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
• Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing support to apprentices and junior team members.
• Follow all Health & Safety and Quality procedures.
