NXT Recruitment Limited is recruiting a skilled Workshop Joiner for a Carlisle-based manufacturing business. The role involves producing and assembling wooden components to exact specifications in a hands-on workshop.

You will operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools, read technical drawings, and ensure quality, accuracy and safety in every task. This is a temporary to permanent, full-time position in Cumbria.

Qualificações

• Experience as a joiner in a workshop/manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Manufacture and assemble wooden components to detailed specifications.
• Operate a range of woodworking machinery and workshop equipment.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
• Accurately measure and mark out materials and components.
• Use jigs, templates and other equipment to ensure consistent production.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify and resolve issues to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Maintain tools, machinery and equipment in good working order.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet production requirements.
• Support other areas of the business when required.
• Work overtime when necessary to meet business demands.
