Job summary

Gi Group (United Kingdom) is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our Heysham site (LA3). The role supports Goods In and general warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and shipped accurately in line with site procedures and transport regulations.

You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, 37.5 hours per week, at a pay rate of £13.20 per hour. Prior warehouse experience and basic computer skills are preferred, with strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or goods in/out experience.
• Able to operate in a detail‑driven warehouse.
• Comfortable with stock systems and basic computer tasks.
• Adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack deliveries and book in goods accurately.
• Locate items to correct locations.
• Pick stock for orders and return bulk items.
• Carry out cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow packing and labelling procedures for transport.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with site procedures.
