Job summary

Knights Recruitment is seeking a dedicated VNA/Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our logistics team in Melton Mowbray. You will operate narrow-aisle equipment to move goods, load and unload shipments, and support inventory flow in a busy warehouse environment.

This role requires proven forklift experience, familiarity with WMS, and a strong commitment to safety. You will work Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, contributing to accurate stock records and efficient shipping and receiving processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating VNA and counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse.
• Experience using warehouse management systems for stock tracking.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate VNA forklifts to move materials in the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments accurately.
• Use WMS to track inventory movements.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs.
• Assist with shipping and receiving against documentation.
• Handle materials with care and follow safety protocols.
• Support stock location organization and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
