Job summary

Sierra 57 Consult Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Toolmaker with experience in plastic injection mould tooling to join their established team to support continued business growth. You will manufacture, repair and maintain tooling from technical drawings and 3D CAD data.

The role will involve supporting the development of the toolroom, processes and equipment, with opportunities for apprentice development, training and progression within a busy, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Plastic Injection Mould Toolmaker with proven tooling experience.
• Experience manufacturing, repairing and maintaining injection mould tooling.
• Experience with CNC machining and 3D CAD data from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture new injection mould tools from drawings and 3D CAD data.
• Repair, modify and maintain production tooling to keep optimum condition.
• Work with hardened steel tools including hot runner systems, valve gates and manifolds.
• Support development of tooling processes and apprentice development.
