Job summary

Omega Resource Group is recruiting a Toolmaker for a precision manufacturing business in Stourport-on-Severn. The role involves manufacturing, repairing and assembling complete fastener tooling kits to drawings and specifications.

You will operate toolroom equipment, source parts, maintain stock, and support other disciplines as needed. Time-served toolmaker or equivalent qualifications are required, with capability to work to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Time served toolmaker or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven ability to work with professional people at all levels.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and manual turning experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate toolroom equipment: lathes, milling, grinders.
• Set and operate toolroom measuring equipment.
• Source parts and materials following procurement procedures.
• Maintain stock levels of spares and consumables.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available for tasks and repairs.
• Be proactive and train in other disciplines when required.
