Job summary

Omega Plc in Stourport-on-Severn is seeking a skilled Toolmaker for a permanent role. You will manufacture, repair and assemble complete tooling kits to drawings and specifications, operating toolroom equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and setting measuring gear.

You will work as part of a proactive team, source parts via the procurement system, maintain spares stock and support other disciplines as needed.

Qualifications

• Time served toolmaker or equivalent qualifications
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work to tight tolerances

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, repair and assemble tooling kits to drawings and specifications
• Operate toolroom equipment: lathes, milling, grinders
• Source parts and materials via procurement system
• Maintain stock levels of spares and consumables
• Be a proactive team member and cross-train elsewhere when required
