You will operate Jones & Shipman grinders, read drawings, and ensure quality and adherence to tolerances, while keeping a clean, organized workshop and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision tooling or toolroom environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Experience with precision inspection techniques and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Grind tungsten carbide dies to tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.
• Re-condition tooling according to drawings and specs.
• Set up and maintain grinding equipment for optimum performance.
• Inspect components with precision measuring tools and record results.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in tooling department.
