Job summary

MLR Construction & Engineering in Bedford is seeking an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join an established engineering business. You will work from drawings to produce quality fabricated components and TIG weld to high standards.

Experience on conveyors is desirable but not essential. This permanent role offers a 40-hour week with a salary up to £19 per hour plus overtime, based in Bedford.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator.
• Strong TIG welding experience.
• Full fabrication skillset.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding to a high standard.
• General fabrication and assembly.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Measuring, marking out and preparing materials.
• Cutting, forming and fitting components.
• Ensuring finished work meets required quality standards.
• Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
