Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder for a long-term contract in Bedford. The role focuses on maintenance, repairs and site fabrication rather than repetitive production welding, supporting manufacturing operations across machinery, equipment and site infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong TIG welding and fabrication background within an industrial environment and previous Fabricator Welder experience.

Fabricator Welder (Contract)

Contract: Long-term ongoing contract
Shift: Monday to Friday, Days

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a busy manufacturing facility in Bedford on a long-term contract basis.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintenance, repairs, and site fabrication rather than repetitive production welding. You will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by carrying out repairs, modifications, and fabrication work across machinery, equipment, and site infrastructure.

The Role

As a Fabricator Welder, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out TIG welding and fabrication repairs throughout the manufacturing site
• Repairing and modifying existing machinery, equipment, and structural components
• Producing high-quality TIG welds to a consistent standard

We are looking for a skilled Fabricator Welder with a strong background in TIG welding and fabrication within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder
• Strong TIG welding and fabrication skills
• Experience repairing, modifying, or maintaining machinery, equipment, and structures
