Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group has partnered with a well-established engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced TIG Welder for their production team. The role involves welding fabricated components to engineering drawings and quality standards in a precision environment.

The successful candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship or recognised qualification in Welding or Fabrication, strong TIG welding experience, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or recognised welding qualification required.
• Strong TIG welding experience in a precision environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding to engineering drawings and customer specs.
• Set up, inspect and maintain welding equipment.
• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel using various processes.
• Inspect welds for quality and record work in ERP system.
• Support Lean manufacturing and maintain safety standards.
