Job summary

Owen Daniels is partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Alcester to recruit a skilled TIG Welder. The role focuses on precision welding of components to tight drawings and customer specifications, within a quality-conscious engineering environment.

Based on a day shift, you will perform TIG and Linear welding, set up tooling, interpret welding symbols, and maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping while supporting colleagues to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and welding specifications.
• Experience welding thin gauge material.
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out both TIG and Linear welding activities in line with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality requirements
• Set up components, tooling, and work holding equipment to ensure accurate and efficient production processes
• Interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation to complete operations correctly
• Conduct in-process inspections using measuring equipment to verify product conformity and identify non-conformances
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment
