Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Test Technician to support Assembly, Test & Service departments. You will ensure products are tested and calibrated accurately, investigate non-conformances, and help drive efficiency using continuous improvement and lean techniques.

The role emphasises compliance with health and safety and strong 5S housekeeping. Experience in a test environment is essential, with preferred qualifications including NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent, GCSE Maths/English, and ideally an HNC/Level

Qualifications

• Experience in a test environment is required.
• Familiar with lean techniques and continuous improvement.
• Awareness of 5S housekeeping and workplace organisation.

Responsibilities

• Correct test and calibration of products within agreed timescales.
• Processing of RMAs in line with standard processes.
• Integrate the link between PE, DE & Production Control.
• Support CI projects to improve product flow within the business.
• Flexibility to work between different functions and adapt as required.
