The role emphasises compliance with health and safety and strong 5S housekeeping. Experience in a test environment is essential, with preferred qualifications including NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent, GCSE Maths/English, and ideally an HNC/Level

Job Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to support the Assembly, Test & Service Departments in ensuring that Products and Instrumentation are Tested, Calibrated, and produced to the highest degree of accuracy and as efficiently as possible. The Test Technician will ensure non-conformances are correctly dealt with and investigated to ensure future occurrences do not happen, while also ensuring the existing processes are as efficient as they can be using continuous improvement and lean techniques. They will be required to assist the business in ensuring compliance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives whilst maintaining a high level of personal 5S and housekeeping standards.

Experience, Professional Qualifications And Personal Requirements

• Experience in a Test Environment required.
• Level 3 NVQ/BTEC / Minimum GSCE Math’s & English 4/C.
• HNC/Level 4 preferred.
