Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar painting role.
• Experience with 2-pack paints is essential.
• Forklift licence held and used on site.
• Ability to use a range of hand tools.
• Solid understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage workload.
• Professional and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint items, following project specs.
• Assist with assembly and related fabrication tasks.
• Maintain PPE and adhere to safety protocols.
• Inspect surfaces for defects and rectify as needed.
• Prepare primed surfaces for top coating and apply finish coats.
• Keep workspace clean and compliant with 5S practices.
• Operate lifting equipment and handle materials safely.
• Attend training courses as required.
