Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. is recruiting for a Solderer to join a leading manufacturer in Corby. This temporary-to-permanent role offers a 39-hour week with shifts Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00 and Fri 08:00-13:00, paying £12.71 per hour.

You will solder precision electrical and electronic components, work from drawings, ensure quality, maintain workstation, and support production targets. Full training and opportunities to go permanent are provided in a clean, modern environment.

Qualifications

• Previous soldering experience is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good manual dexterity and steady hand.
• Able to work with small and delicate components.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Soldering small electrical and electronic components to a high standard.
• Working from technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Assembling and connecting electrical components and connectors.
• Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks on completed work.
• Ensuring products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting production targets while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
