Job summary

Khr - Recruitment Specialists is recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker based near Staplehurst, Kent. The role is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, with overtime and bonus opportunities tied to performance.

You will fabricate, form and finish sheet metal components to engineering drawings in a precision environment, read technical specs and work safely within ISO 9001 standards. You will contribute to production of bespoke components for UK and international customers, operate

Qualifications

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication.
Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Experience within an ISO 9001 quality management environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Carry out sheet metal fabrication, bending, forming and finishing in line with orders and engineering specs.
Manufacture precision components using fine limit sheet metal techniques.
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts, including assemblies with machined components.
Deburring, drilling, finishing and occasional spot welding.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Ensure components meet dimensions, tolerances and quality standards.
Operate relevant machinery safely and efficiently.
Inspect finished work against production specs and customer requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Follow ISO 9001 procedures and quality requirements.
Collaborate with production colleagues to meet deadlines.
