Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Limited is supporting a client in North Yorkshire to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector for a permanent, full-time role in a state-of-the-art aerospace/defence manufacturing facility. You will inspect, measure and test components throughout production to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

You will work with Production, Engineering and Quality teams, use CMM and Faro Arms, contribute to continuous improvement, and support QA

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within manufacturing.
• Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections of components.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
• Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• CMM and Faro Arms experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with composite materials is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured components and assemblies.
• Perform inspections throughout the manufacturing process, including goods-in and final inspection.
• Use inspection equipment such as CMM and Faro Arms for measurements.
• Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality processes.
• Support audits and accreditation requirements.
