Job summary

THREE60 Energy Group seeks a skilled Quality Inspector to join our precision engineering team. You will inspect machined components against customer specifications and industry standards, and perform first-off, in-process and final inspections in a regulated environment.

Candidates should have experience with conventional measuring equipment and CMMs, and be able to read 3D models and engineering drawings. A strong understanding of AS9100 quality standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quality inspection role within a precision engineering environment.
• Experience using conventional measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, height gauges).
• Experience operating CMM.
• Ability to inspect components using 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, ideally within AS9100 environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components per customer specs and standards.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Operate CMM using 3D models for measurement and reporting.
• Complete inspection documentation and maintain records.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production to ensure high-quality output.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within a precision engineering environment
• Ability to use conventional measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, height gauges)
• Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
• Ability to inspect components using 3D models and engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of quality standards, ideally within AS9100 environments

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting machined components to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
• Performing first-off, in-process, and final inspections
• Operating CMM equipment using 3D models for accurate measurement and reporting
• Completing inspection documentation and maintaining quality records
• Identifying non-conformances and supporting corrective actions
• Working closely with production to maintain high-quality output

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in aerospace, oil & gas, or defence sectors
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
